f(x) Sweeps Music Charts with ′4 Walls′
Girl group f(x) has topped music charts in Korea and China with fourth full-length album 4 Walls.
4 Walls was released at midnight on October 27, and as of 8 a.m. KST, lead single 4 Walls is number one on seven real-time music charts, including MelOn, Genie, Bugs, Naver Music, Olleh Music, Soribada and Monkey3.
4 Walls is also ranked number one on China′s Baidu King Chart′s real-time chart, while tracks Glitter, X, Cash Me Out, Deja Vu, Traveler, Rude Love, Diamond, When I′m Alone and Papi are ranked in the Top 20.
4 Walls is an EDM track with a dreamlike feel, and the lyrics convey the confusing feelings of being trapped inside a confined space when you fall in love unexpectedly.
The music video for 4 Walls was also released via f(x)′s official website and SMTOWN′s official YouTube channel on October 27, grabbing globals fans′ attention with a unique and original visual component.
f(x) will kick off music program promptions for 4 Wallswith Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN on October 29, KBS′ Music Bank on October 30 and MBC′s Music Core on October 31.
Meanwhile, f(x)′s fourth full-length album 4 Walls will hit offline stores on October 27.
